Deutsche Vortex GmbH & Co. KG specialises in the production of the low rating class of domestic hot water circulation pumps, offering unparalleled DHW convenience and maximum energy savings.

Deutsche Vortex was founded on 1 April 1965 to bring a completely new pump principle with impressive benefits to the market – DHW circulation pumps with a spherical motor. Even in the company's first year of existence, its pumps already had a power consumption of just over 20 watts and were equipped with a thermostat.

In the early eighties, Vortex launched the world's first pump with an integral timer. Many other models followed in its wake.

We can also look back with pride on our other countless innovations in the more recent past. These include the first DHW circulation pump with an integral self-learning module and our current highly efficient BlueOne pump series, unique thanks to its low power consumption, combined with a variety of control modules.

We see ourselves as a partner to the specialist plumbing and heating wholesale sector. In Germany, our products are only sold by wholesalers to the specialist trade. We work with partners abroad, some of whom have been with us for many years. If we do not have a presence in a particular country, we handle sales and distribution ourselves.

In order to meet the resulting demands on the company, Deutsche Vortex GmbH & Co. KG has put in place an integrated management system that is currently certified to EN ISO 45001, EN ISO 14001 and EN ISO 9001.

Our guiding principles illustrate the importance of quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety (OHS) to our company:

PROTECTION OF EMPLOYEES, SUBCONTRACTORS AND THIRD PARTIES
Safety within the company is our top priority. We offer ergonomic work spaces and carry out instruction and awareness raising measures among our own employees, service providers and third parties with the aim of preventing occupational illnesses and accidents at work. Through preventive measures and frank, constructive dialogue with all interested parties, we eliminate grievances before they affect the health of the people working at our premises.


CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
Customer satisfaction is the benchmark for the quality to be delivered. We resolve customer issues quickly and competently, without red tape.

COOPERATION WITHIN THE COMPANY
We promote employee awareness of environmental, quality and OHS matters. Disruptions to process flows are quickly and effectively eliminated through collective discussion. All employees are responsible for the quality and efficiency of their work.

All employees are obliged to comply with the applicable laws and regulations on environmental protection and occupational health and safety. Moreover, we strive for constant improvement in these areas.

Good quality helps us to avoid mistakes and duplication of effort. Striving for quality also improves the company's profitability and protects our own jobs and those of others. We look for efficiencies and avoid waste when using resources such as power, water, raw materials and consumables. We take suitable measures to prevent environmental pollution.

We consider quality and environmental aspects across the entire life cycle when designing and producing our products. This includes monitoring environmental, occupational health and safety and quality standards among our suppliers.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
We encourage all employees to play an active role in shaping the continuous improvement process. Proposals are reviewed by the respective head of department, who then monitors the implementation and effectiveness of the measures taken. Management actively promotes the continuous improvement of all processes with the aim of ensuring that the company remains the quality leader in the market.
